JBL SELENIUM D220TI TITANIUM SCREW-ON DRIVER 160 WATTS 8-OHMS. The D220Ti 8 Ohms from Selenium is a premium compression driver speaker with exceptional efficiency and minimal distortion. It is advised for usage in small to medium-sized rooms for sound reinforcement, stage boxes, and studio monitors.

Great-quality compression driver with a dome diaphragm made entirely of titanium provides low distortion and high efficiency over the medium and high-frequency range.

High frequency, linear response, and exceptional performance are all features of JBL’s TRIO driver range. The diaphragm is made entirely of titanium to produce high frequencies as faithfully as possible. A phase stopper and an audio transformer that reduces phase cancellation are also used. For reproducing mid and high frequencies, it is the best option. These days, small to medium-sized automobile triple electric systems are where it is most commonly used.

The diaphragm of the JBL Selenium D220Ti-8 horn driver is made of pure, robust, light, and incredibly thin titanium (0.025 mm). The suspension has to strengthen that was specifically developed to prevent stress and distortion. Unwanted phase cancellations are removed by optimizing an injected-molded phase stopper.

The JBL Compression Driver D220Ti-8’s ceramic magnetic assembly efficiently focuses flux in the gap, and FEA is used to obtain the best motor strength efficiency (Finite Element Analysis). Great stability and thermal resistance are guaranteed by a voice coil made of CCAW (Copper Clad Aluminum Wire) and wound on a polyimide former, and the moving assembly has an excellent auto-centering characteristic that makes replacement simple if necessary. 1-3/8″-18 TPI standard screw-on mounting.
