CD-R vs CD-RW CD disc

We are going to discuss the differences and similarities between CD-R and CD-RW. CD-RW vs CD-R

CD-R means a recordable disc can record music at one time and keep it permanently on the disc (such as a commercially produced music CD).

CD-RW means rewritable CD-RW discs are suitable if you want to be able to write to a disc, then delete the music and write to the same disc again.

CD-R discs are read-only, meaning once data is written, it cannot be altered.

You cannot erase and rewrite on a CD-R.

CD-RW discs are rewritable meaning once you rewrite the blank disc many times.

Does not have a write speed as fast as the CD-R.

Precautions:

1. Avoid fingerprints, dust, and another soiling on the disc. The disc can be cleaned with a soft, lint-free cloth. Don’t use any solvents or protective liquid.

2. Do not hit the edge of the disc.

3. Protect the disc from excessive heat, moisture, and direct sunlight.

4. Please use soft felt-tip pens to label the disc.
